Personal Training - one on one
           PERSONAL TRAINING

One thing I believe in is: “quality is more important then quantity!” and good quality combined with the right quantity will bring lasting results.

To me, personal training is simply the best way to get a quality workout. Trough specific questions, and an exact evaluation of your training goals, talks about what training styles you like and don’t like, I will get to know you and tailor a training to your needs and your likes.

I offer different styles of training. As a certified PTA Global trainer I offer from traditional style training to progressive training a lot of possibilities for you to choose from. We can always include Power Yoga or some parts of it into the weekly routine if you like. Since I have been practicing Yoga for a long time and are also certified in teaching it, I know from my own experience how good a combination of strength, cardio and Yoga is.

After teaching group fitness classes for some time, I more and more enjoy the possibilities and benefits personal training brings. My aim is to coach you towards a routine that is fun, beneficial to your goal and compatible with your daily life. Taking your likes and dislikes into account at all times, then this is for me the P as in personal!

We can train where ever it is convenient for you, outside, in your home or if you have a gym in your living / working facilities, we can meet there.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and start the journey to your wellbeing together.

Nordic Walking
Power Yoga
           POWER YOGA

Yoga complements our busy, hectic life perfectly and no matter what your favorite sport is, you will always benefit from the combination of strength, stretch, body and mind training that I aim to teach.

There are many different styles of Yoga offered. It is even for someone familiar with yoga very difficult to know the differences between the different styles.

My preferred style is Power Yoga. It originates from Astanga Yoga. In Astanga Yoga we follow a fixed sequence of asanas (poses). In Power Yoga, this is freer, depending on the goals of your practice. The poses are put together in a way, one after the other, to give a nice flow to the practice which helps your mind to ease off. Focus only on what you are doing right now and not what you did before or what’s up next.

In a group class the aim is to have a balanced training for the multi-sport kind of person. We will use simple but effective poses to start with and gradually increase the difficulty level. You should feel challenged but not overwhelmed. Within the class you can work on your own level.

In personal Yoga sessions, we can tailor the practice to your needs and likes. Is it flexibility you want to gain, strength, or calm your mind, you decide.

I have practiced Yoga for many years and although (or maybe just because) I am not your very flexible, almost acrobatic Yoga teacher, I enjoy the multiple benefits it gives me: A better feeling for the body, better posture, calming of the mind, increased focus. This all helps in many different aspects of life.

I am very much looking forward to share this experience with you.

           NORDIC WALKING

Nordic Walking is:

  • One of the most effective low impact Cardiovascular  workouts.

  • It works all major muscles groups in the body.

  • You burn more calories than with regular walking.

  • Nordic Walking is gentle on joints and spine.

By walking with poles you gain additional cardio respiratory benefits compared to regular walking.

In Nordic Walking you have an effective whole body workout. By mimicking the motion of cross country skiing you use more muscle groups. Especially the upper body is much more involved compared to regular walking.

Because you are exercising your arms and legs at the same time it is a very beneficial work-out. It is proven to reach a higher heart rate then regular walking.

Nordic Walking is safe to do at every age. You can easily adjust it to your level of fitness and combined with the hills in Hong Kong it makes a good workout even for the well trained body.

I first came in contact with Nordic Walking during my studies in Switzerland to become a wellness trainer (a certified 2 year course including a wide range of physical exercise, mental training and nutritional basics). The fact that Nordic Walking is done outside was something that made me like it from the beginning. But as I started do get more involved with the sport, I came to enjoy the many benefits of it and with every training I became more certain about it. Also with being a personal trainer, I experience Nordic Walking as a great alternative in a training routine. It is the perfect workout to train your basic cardio, which all too often gets neglected.
